Talking with "Redstar" director, Dave Harris, he is certainly happy with the opening of the film. Now, he's already talking sequel potentials.
"We have been watching the opening of this one closely. I've got a script ready to go, so with the opening day being what it was, I think we are ready to greenlight the next episode in the Redstar saga."
Coda plans to get the project started for release next summer.
"We have a little more to discuss. I'm not going into plot details as of yet, but it will be bigger."

Arthur Carlson with Coda Productions:
"We are quite happy with the opening weekend of Redstar. We are already looking at moving forward with a sequel. Our director is working on a few ideas. I would like to announce that our Redstar sequel is going to be released May 4, 2007. So, stay tuned for updates. We know that it would be a great way to start the 2007 summer movie season.
I would also like to announce that rumors that Twisted Metal is a planned trilogy are true. We do have script and contracts ready for the second and third movies in the series with the second film planned for a Summer 2007 release. Again, stay tuned for updates."
