The staff knows that if we go by the regular times, nothing will ever come out for another couple of months. SO, if the movie is developed between now and June 4th, you can release it within a week, as long as it is rated by the MPAA. Just follow the same directions, the admin will take care of the rest.

Just post it in your finished projects. We check multiple times daily.

I actually have a question, is it possible to have a Wednesday release date? Looking ahead, the fourth of July, one of the biggest movie going times, is on a Tuesday, so I would prefer my picture come out on the following day...how will it effect the box office?

Yes, I suppose so. Since its during the summer weekday movies will have bigger #'s anyways. Just specifically mark it when giving the release date.
By the way, I live in Canada, and I know that like Memorial Day Weekend is a long weekend at the box office. But I don't know them all: is anyone willing to supply me with the long weekends and the amount of days in the weekend (Fridays always count as a weekend, so only 4+ days). If anyone can do that that would be GREAT.

I'm also Canadian...but the 4th of July 5-day weekend goes from Friday, June 30 - Tuesday, July 4.
And Thanksgivingis the last (I think?) full weekend in November.

Just post with a release date at any time you want instead of the mandatory # of month. When you finish a project you post about it in your finished projects folder with a sypnosis, movie content (sexuality, language, etc.), release date, close date, and theatre count.
Once that's done we'll rate your movie, and then put it on the release schedule.

I was just wondering, how long will fast-tracking run for the new game?

I'm thinking of letting it run the entire time, that way companies would just have to watch out for scheduling/budgeting. What does everyone think?

I agree.
Now, that there are limited numbers of open spaces, a company would need to book their films in advance anyway.
