He has now, begun bringing in massive amounts of art as well as artists and scholars to grace his magnificent palace. He also begins to woe his nobles to his palace where he basically turns them into his lackeys, because at his palace they can not bother him as he makes his governmental moves across the country. Into this world of political intrigue steps two great nobles (Irons, and McKellen) from France’s far corners who have no desire to become Louis’ lackeys’. Louis sets in motion a great plan to make the nobles his lackeys’ using his beautiful yet mischievous wife (Weisz).
