It's been a while since we've gotten excited about our own movies coming out, so let's try and get pumped...hopefully, Fantasy can catch up on the numbers, and we can start making predictions on what we think will light the box office up...so with that in mind...
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn - Charles Productions
The beloved American classic about a young girl’s coming-of-age at the turn of the century, Betty Smith’s A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is a poignant and moving tale filled with compassion and cruelty, laughter and heartache, crowded with life and people and incident. The story of young, sensitive, and idealistic Francie Nolan and her bittersweet formative years in the slums of Williamsburg. (Probably PG, around 1300 theaters)
Honeymoon Heartache - Desire Pictures & Exit Productions
A newly married couple arrives in the Caribbean for their honeymoon. But while Collin spends most of his time making business calls, his new wife Julie is left to spend the millions of dollars she never had until she married. However, while left alone, she meets a local busboy who she finds easy to talk to and loves to hang out with. But soon she begins to fall in love with this stranger, a feeling she never felt for Collin. Slowly Julie begins to understand that maybe money can't buy her everything... (PG, 2490 theaters)
