If the following movies were released in theatres this weekend in real life, which would you spend your money on? THE FAMILY GUY MOVIE Quahog has hit it big. People are starting companies, people are investing and getting rich quick. Even Peter Griffin. Now with his mansion, instead of his quaint little home, he sits as the jealous Glen Quagmire, Cleveland Brown, and Joe Swanson plot to assasinate him. Meanwhile, Stewie runs against Mayor Adam West in the newest mayoral election. Quahog is the newest city of wealth, sex, and scandal. Until everything crashes and burns: and becomes a slum. |
GODZILLA: MONSTER ISLAND Jake Trapp, a behavioral scientist, has been called upon by the government to help with a secret experiment. It seems they found the surviving Godzilla baby in Manhattan and has raised in on an island just off Japan. They bring Trapp to "Monster Island" where he is asked to help control the beast. However, while there, Trapp learns that they have decided to experiment with more creatures, creating several large beasts (yes, including a giant moth). Now, there is no containing them, as the monsters wage war with themselves, and the battle is spilling over into Tokyo. |
BLACULA While on a diplomacy mission to Transylvania to end the European African slave trade, Prince Mamuwalde is cursed by Count Dracula to forever thirst for blood as Blacula(!) and imprisons him a sealed coffin. When this coffin gets into the hands of a couple of decorators, Blacula is transported to modern day Los Angeles (1973 that is) and wreaks havoc in the ghetto. In his violent exploits he meets a young woman named Tina, who he believes to be the reincarnation of his past wife, and plans to transform her into his vampire bride. Meanwhile, the recent wave of vampiric activity bewilders the local police force--except for the precocious young detective Dr. Gordon Thomas, who must act as the vampire killer and end Blacula’s rampage once and for all. |
